Okay. I’m one of those currently working with thyroid/hormones functional people and I’m in a functional gut program. I’ve made tremendous progress. My labs are pretty good, though my hormones may need a bit of finesse. My nervous system needs work, which is in progress. However, my sleep still suffers, as does my inability to lose weight. I fall asleep just fine, but wake up anywhere from 1:30am to 4:30am and seldom do I get back to sleep. I find the usual sleep hygiene guidelines utterly useless. What would you suggest for someone like me? What am I missing? Are there resources out there that would be helpful, other than prescription drugs?
