For the People Struggling to Get Better
This one is for you
There’s a pattern I have long observed in our practice.
By the time most people find me, they’ve already:
Cleaned up their diet.
Tried “functional” or “integrative” doctors.
Collected lab panels, protocols, and supplements.
Seen some improvement, but they’re still far from optimal.
They’re frustrated. They feel stuck somewhere between 0 and 70% better. They’re still struggling with some combination of:
Fatigue that holds them back from their hopes and dreams
Brain fog that they’re worried might turn into something worse
Weight that won’t budge
Pain that is constant and unrelenting, and that is stealing their favorite hobbies and precious time with family
Sleep that is slow to come, quick to break, and just doesn’t feel restful
They’re tired of the struggle. They’re tired of feeling like life is slipping past them. They’re ready to answers.
And they’re drowning in information.
They’ve heard every diet, every detox, every protocol. They’ve listened to podcasts, read books, joined Facebook groups, followed Substacks (mine included).
What we find when we look closer at their diets, lifestyles, supplement protocols, and medication regimens is that there are simple changes that can unlock the results they’re looking for.
They’re not missing information.
They’re missing a coherent framework that pulls that information together into a strategy, not a random collection of tactics.
Here’s how we solve this problem in our new program. We give people:
A single, coherent framework to organize all of it.
A way to know what to do first, what matters most, and what to ignore.
A place to ask questions where the answers are grounded in actual clinical practice, not theory.
What to focus on with limited time, money, and energy.
That’s what I’ve been quietly building behind the scenes.
For years, we’ve been running a teaching framework inside our practice. Here it is:
Principles
Essentials
Hazards
Diagnostics
Therapeutics
We use it every day in the practice. It’s how we tackle complex cases without overwhelming the patient or ourselves in the process. It’s how we know where to start, what to do next, and what to revisit later.
Until now, the only way to learn that system was to become a patient.
The problem is:
I can only take a handful of new patients a month (four is our max).
Demand is far beyond what I can responsibly accept.
And there are thousands of you reading this who will never work with me 1:1, but still need a framework.
So here’s what I’ve decided to do:
Take the teaching,
Take the Q&A,
Take the forms and tools we use in the practice,
And move them into a single place, outside the clinical relationship.
A place where:
I walk through the framework every week, live.
You can ask questions and see how I think about real problems in real time.
You can access a running Q&A with written and recorded answers from over a year.
My favorite perk of membership will be members-only pricing on our supplements. Everything in our online store is 25% off for members.
The membership can pay for itself if you’re on a heavy supplement protocol.
If you’ve been reading my work for a while, resonating with the ideas, but still feeling stuck, then this program is for you.
Over the next few weeks, I’ll share:
What it actually looks like week to week,
How you’ll be able to join if it’s a fit, and
How I see this fitting into the bigger project of making good medicine more accessible without diluting it.
For now, I’m curious:
If you had a weekly slot on my calendar to ask questions and get them answered at a high level (not individualized treatment), what would you ask first?
Reply to this email and tell me.
I’m heavily weighting the opinions of Substack subscribers in what we’re building. Your input matters.
Until next time, be well,
Dr. Stillman
