The cutting edge of integrative medicine...
DMSO and MSM
We are on the cutting-edge of integrative medicine in my practice.
I know this because what surprises or is “news” to many is not news to us. For example, this excellent article about DMSO by A Midwestern Doctor is not news for us.
I ask him in the comments, “what about MSM?” MSM is what we use, rather than DMSO, for various reasons.
Very, very few clinicians are aware of, let alone know how to use MSM (much less DMSO) into their treatment regimens.
I am currently in the midst of using DMSO for the first time and will be sharing my experiences with it both personally and in my practice.
If you were not already aware of The Forgotten Side of Medicine Substack, I thoroughly recommend it.
The author - a Midwestern Doctor - routinely writes about topics we are already quite familiar with in my practice. Sadly, there is terrible ignorance, even among the most well-educated consumers, about the finer points of integrative medicine. There is so much we have to offer our patients. We have integrated so much knowledge, so many protocols, that it is hard to actually explain it to people.
I always look forward to his posts.
Maybe now you will too.
More testimonials and case reports coming soon.
Until next time, be well,
Dr. Stillman

Dr Stillman, thank you for the reference to AMD, I subscribed to his Substack bc of his DMSO posts. It takes a LONG time to read them, but he is so thorough and has links to everything.
Your last post on DMSO or its derivative, MSM, was October 3,
2024. Can you report anything yet?
Dr Stillman, I too use and make my own MSM about once per year, regularly since the scamdemic. Suddenly ( and the right timing so as not to run here to this remedy, and rush there for that remedy) I turned to DMSO, having read A midwestern Doctor substacks on DMSO. Fascinating. Bought 70/30 DMSO / Aloe, 99.9% straight gel and the liquid.
Just this week: Have begun applying gel on my hands for treatment of Reynauds. Also applied on my lower back where I sometimes feel discomfort and later this week I’ll begin internal treatment to help circulation in my brain.
I eat real food, no white or processed foods, and very little sweet additives. Maybe a little stevia, xylitol or monk fruit or maple syrup in my tea.
Anyway, I guess Im a sucker for natural and safe remedies. Im very interested in the results of DMSO so I’ll follow you and might begin posting results on substack. 🥳
