Superoxide Dismutase (SOD) from French Melon
A Powerful Catalyst for Antioxidant Defense
I have been using a product personally for over a year now called Skin Sips. It was invented by my friend, Mary Rankin, who will be recording a podcast with me about it in the coming months.
Mary’s story is inspirational. She’s someone who refused to settle for a grim diagnosis. She’s reinvented herself, and today I want to share her story with you.
Mary's Story: From Vaccine Injury to Innovation
Four years ago, I met Mary shortly after she experienced a vaccine injury that left her with intense, chronic fatigue. As many of my patients do when facing health challenges that conventional medicine struggles to address, Mary became determined to find solutions.
She started, “doing her own research.” Shocking, I know. Experts everywhere agree that doing your own research is hazardous to your health. Fortunately for us and for Mary, she didn’t listen to them.
Her research led her to SOD B (Superoxide Dismutase) derived from Charentais melon grown in Provence. What caught her attention was the mounting evidence that this particular form of SOD supports natural energy while simultaneously improving skin health and reducing cellulite when taken daily at a 40 mg dose.
Mary has since made a full recovery from her vaccine injury, thanks to her discovery of SOD B, as she and I will discuss on our upcoming podcast.
What makes the SOD B in Skin Sips different is its full encapsulation, which maintains bioactivity and ensures proper absorption. Mary developed a simple formula with just six key ingredients that dissolves easily in 8-16 ounces of water.
The Cellular Mechanism
SOD is what researchers call a "primary antioxidant" - it's your body's first-line enzyme defense against oxidative stress. The particular SOD derived from this French melon is remarkable because of its stability and bioactivity when properly delivered.
What makes this approach different is the protective coating technology that ensures the SOD enzyme survives gastric transit and reaches the intestine intact. Once there, it doesn't actually enter the bloodstream (the molecule is too large), but instead triggers a cascade of events that stimulates your body's own production of antioxidant enzymes - not just SOD but also catalase and glutathione peroxidase.
This is a fundamental principle I emphasize in my practice - supporting the body's innate intelligence rather than merely supplementing deficiencies.
Real Testimonials
Here are a few testimonials for your consideration:
"I have been taking SkinSips consistently for 8 weeks now and not only do I see a difference in my abdomen with less bloating and a smaller waist but I see a difference in the texture of my skin all over my body. I had some sun damage and I see my skin becoming softer and smoother. I highly recommend this product to my clients and Yoga students for the core benefits but also for the energy boost the antioxidants provide. The taste is great too!!"
— Lisa, Yoga Teacher
"I've taken SkinSips samples for almost 3 months. The change I have really noticed is how much energy I have now. I take it midday and am able to finish out the day as a nurse full force. I am also not as bloated and seems to be helping my digestive system. Overall, all I've seen are positive results with my body."
— Casey, RN, Houston, Texas
"The change in my skin is surreal-areas of cellulite have smoothed and I can tell my skin is tighter and less crepey in my upper arms and inner thigh area. Love this stuff, it's miraculous."
— Kim, Business Exec., Dallas, Texas
"I have lost inches in my waist and feel much less bloated. My skin looks great and my energy is so much better. Love the taste as well, no weird after taste."
— Michael, Executive, Dallas, TX
I am glad to have another tool to share with patients to optimize their health.
The Research Foundation
The peer-reviewed literature reveals several mechanisms explaining these clinical observations:
Supplementation with protected SOD from this melon varietal has been documented to increase endogenous antioxidant enzyme production, creating a multiplier effect beyond what the supplement itself provides.
Studies demonstrate significant reductions in inflammatory markers like IL-6 and TNF-alpha, which we know are driving factors in both visible skin inflammation and deeper metabolic dysfunction.
Clinical trials on this specific extract show measurable changes in connective tissue structure and reduction in the visual presentation of cellulite after consistent use.
The data also suggests cardiovascular benefits through angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitory activity, which aligns with what we know about the relationship between oxidative stress and vascular health.
In My Practice
I am now recommending Skin Sips to patients struggling with:
Inflammatory skin conditions
Metabolic imbalances
Energy regulation issues
Premature cellular aging
Vaccine injury
I am looking forward to hearing more from patients about the benefits of Skin Sips.
For Autoimmune Conditions
From the testimonials I have read so far, I think SkinSips has great potential to help people who are suffering from autoimmune conditions. Why? Because of the strong link between deficient cellular antioxidant defense systems and autoimmunity. This is why vitamin C has such profound positive effects for people dealing with autoimmunity. How I Use SkinSips Personally
I use SkinSips in my “afternoon pick-me-up.” I am planning a post on this recipe. Stay tuned!

It sounds like this could be a good product for Autism with Metabolic issues?
I am keen to try this, I hope they ship internationally. I am currently at a "long Covid" clinic in Cyprus trying to get better. I did not get stabbed but nevertheless ended up with a ton of spike protein damage including runaway tissue ageing and autoimmune disease. I will report back!
