From Fatigued to “8 out of 10” Energy Levels
How one woman finally felt like herself again
A Moment with Dr. Stillman
She loved Jesus, ate her veggies, listened to all the right podcasts, and still felt exhausted all the time.
Where She Started
When we first met, she rated her fatigue at about 3.5 on a 0 to 4 scale.
Exercise felt hard. Even getting in her veggies was a struggle. She did her research and still felt stuck.
Before:
Fatigue at “about 3.5” out of 4
Low, inconsistent energy and trouble keeping up with exercise and leafy greens
Leg swelling and stinging
Blood pressure that would swing up into the 140s
Inflammation marker (hs‑CRP) at 1.19
She was tired of feeling tired and had no clear sense of what was driving all this dysfunction.
What We Did Differently
Here’s what we found and what we did differently:
We identified mercury fillings as one piece of her toxic and inflammatory burden and arranged for safe removal.
We added customized supplements on top of what she was already doing, rather than throwing everything out.
We used hair and blood work to balance minerals, support hormones, and calm inflammation.
Her husband started 10‑minute walks with her during the day, and she has been “trying to get more sun.”
In her words, “I think it’s a combination… So just all of it together, we’re making some progress, I believe.”
Where She Is Now
She’s feeling much, much better now. Here’s exactly what she reported:
“I think most days probably around 8” out of 10 for energy, with dips only “around 6”
Since her mercury amalgam removal, she reports “more of a steady increase in the energy level”
“It’s gotten a lot better” over the last few weeks, with a “steady increase in the energy level”
Fatigue now “0.5 to 1” on that same 0 to 4 scale
Blood pressure “most of the time… normal” instead of swinging around
hs‑CRP down from 1.19 to 1.03, almost in the low‑risk range
Things To Think About
Here are a few things to consider if this story resonates with you:
What’s your mercury burden?
Do you still have silver “amalgam” fillings? For some patients, they are a steady drip of toxic and inflammatory load. If that’s you, it may be worth talking with a dentist who is SMART-certified by the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology about safe removal and replacement.
Are you actually seeing the sun?
Many women tell me they “go outside,” but between sunglasses, sunscreen, and long sleeves, almost no skin or eyes ever meet natural light. Ask yourself: could you safely get a little more real sun on your skin and into your eyes (without burning) as part of your normal day?
Do you have the right “tools” to support energy?
In her case, we used a combination of phototherapy, vitamins, and minerals, all personalized to her labs and context.
If You Want To Learn More
If you see yourself in her story and want help sorting out your own hidden load and mineral picture, the next step I recommend is an Inflammation and Autoimmunity Assessment.
In that visit, a member of our team walks through your symptoms, history, and Repair Deficit picture in detail, then outlines the foundations and testing we would prioritize in your situation. You can see available times and book your Assessment here.
