Copper is vital to life, but the problem with copper is that if it isn't bound to proteins, it actually causes more harm than good.
We call this copper toxicity - more copper than the body can use.
Copper toxicity is one of the most common problems people struggle with today. The crazy thing about this is how wrong so many influencers get this.
I can't tell you how many people I've helped to detox from copper.
And yet many people think that you aren't getting ENOUGH copper.
This blows my mind. When you see patient after patient after patient after patient improving after treating them for copper toxicity, it's hard to believe that other people are blindly recommending supplements high in copper, like beef liver and some multi-vitamins.
This is why so many of you are struggling with your health.
So what causes copper toxicity?
First, an inability to make protein. To be useful to the body, copper has to be bound to protein. Otherwise, it's a major liability.
What do you need to make protein? Zinc. Many people aren't getting enough zinc today. Stress and heavy metals also cause us to lose zinc.
Second, excess estrogen. Estrogen raises copper levels in the blood. The highest levels of copper I've ever seen have been in women who were on combined estrogen/progestin birth control.
This is why I refuse to prescribe birth control, unless I'm helping someone come off of it.
We're surrounded by estrogen-mimicking compounds today, better known as endocrine disrupting compounds. I suspect these compounds cause copper toxicity, which would explain why we're seeing so much copper toxicity today.
Third, you have to be able to use the copper you take in. This is one of the key problems modern people face. This is a big part of why I think LifeWave patches work:

Using copper is about having balance in your diet. You need the right mix of all minerals, plus vitamins, in your diet to utilize copper, or any mineral for that matter, properly.
